Pearl Bakes Terms and Conditions for Occasion cakes
For all other orders a non refundable and non transferable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. The remaining balance is payable 14 days prior to the event. Payment can be made by credit/debit card and Revolut.
Final cake design needs to be decided before your deposit is paid. Design changes can’t be made after this time including downsizing your order.
If for any reason you wish to cancel your order please note again that deposits are non-refundable & non-transferable*. If it’s a case where final payment has been made and you need to cancel or postpone your occasion please note your full payment is non-refundable & non-transferable*. In this case a completely new booking would need to be made.
* This also applies to cancellations due to implemention of Covid-19 restrictions/ Covid-19 illness.
COLLECTION OF CAKE
Once your cake is collected from our premises we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your cake. We advise that your cake should be transported either in the boot or the floor (not a seat) of your vehicle where it cannot slide or tilt to one side. Excessive heat will cause cake to melt, please ensure your vehicle is cool and have Aircon on BEFORE collection. Once collected transfer buttercream cakes straight to the fridge when you get home.
TAKING CARE OF YOUR CAKE
Sugarpaste covered cakes need to be stored in a cool room and not in the fridge as the sugarpaste will sweat and colours may run.
Buttercream Cakes need to be STORED IN FRIDGE. On day of celebration remove your cake from fridge no more than one hour before serving.
Allergens – these must be notified to us at the time of ordering.
We use dairy, wheat, nuts, barley, eggs, soy in our kitchen. Our cakes therefore aren’t suitable for anyone with allergies.
